On a glorious day filled with community spirit and a passion for giving back, members of the Rennicks team recently participated in the Dublin Mountain Stroll to support the incredible work of Barretstown. With an impressive total of over €110,000 raised, Rennicks played a significant role in contributing €5,000 towards this exceptional fundraising effort. The event brought together individuals, teams, and organisations, united by a shared commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children facing serious illnesses.
The Dublin Mountain Stroll, now in its 9th year, has become a highly anticipated event on the community calendar, involving both seasoned walkers and newcomers alike. This year’s event was no exception, with participants lacing up their walking shoes and setting off on a picturesque trail through the breathtaking Dublin Mountains.
Rennicks, a company renowned for its commitment to corporate social responsibility, wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to support Barretstown. Barry Marron, Managing Director at Rennicks said, “It was a privilege to be part of the Rennicks team who successfully completed the Dublin Mountains Challenge in support of Barretstown. In addition to finishing the 24km trek, we raised €5,000 to support this wonderful organisation. Well done to the team and a big thank you to all who contributed so generously. Barretstown offers free, specially designed camps and programmes for children and their families living with a serious illness – supported behind the scenes by 24 hour on site medical and nursing care.”
