Mobile Smartsensor HD

The Wavetronix Smartsensor HD is a non intrusive side fired radar system that is ideal for use when fixed to a portable/mobile power source unit like the T25, or a permanent fixed location on new or existing furniture.As a congestion buster, this device is used for advanced warning of potential traffic congestion or queues via pCMS or fixed variable message signs.The purpose is to inform the motorists and allow necessary preparation to plan alternative routes or make necessary changes in route.

As a Data Collection unit, the Smartsensor HD can again be fixed to a portable/mobile power source unit or permanent fixed location on new or existing furniture. Used on our road network in either scenario, the device is ideal as a back up, when the existing road embedded loops have been switched off (due to works or incidents) or in the absence of any localised Data Collection Systems. It is particularly beneficial as it can communicate directly with an existing outstation using our bespoke contact closure card.As such, the Smartsensor HD Data Collection system (when placed within a work zone environment) continues to allow the collection of data to take place.This could be particularly attractive to DFBO operators enabling them to continue monitoring traffic flows.
